Founded in 2011, That 1 Painter is a professional painting services company providing 18 different services. We uphold unmatched standards of workmanship. We strive to deliver excellent quality and bring joy to our clients.

  • How much money can I make?

    There are no promises, however the booming painting industry and our carefully crafted system provide you with a lot of potential and a great opportunity to build a successful business that you will love.

  • Can I expand my territory?

    Yes, if available, you can purchase an additional adjacent territory to add to your current territory.

  • Do I need additional territory?

    No, one territory is a large enough market to run a successful business.

  • Can I buy multiple franchise units?

    Yes a franchisee may apply to buy multiple units in different cities or regions.

  • What does my territory allow/restrict?

    As the owner of your territory you are the only T1P franchisee allowed to solicit and advertise in your territory. However there are no restrictions on commercial work and there are no restrictions on word of mouth referrals. You are allowed to service areas outside of your territory when the work comes from word of mouth referrals or for commercial work. You are not allowed to advertise outside of your territory.

  • What is the royalty fee?

    6% of gross revenue.

  • Are there other fees/costs?

    Yes, as with any franchise there are other fees and costs associated with operating a franchise. These fees are for services by us or third party vendors designed to help you run and grow your business. Our FDD (Franchise Disclosure Document) explains this in much detail.

  • Can I read the FDD?

    Yes, upon receiving your application and after passing our initial interview we will send you the FDD to review before you purchase or commit.

  • What is the appointment center?

    Through our system we provide an appointment booking service to book incoming leads for you. This frees you up to focus on building your business.

  • What kind of training will I receive?

    You will receive Online Training, In Person Training in Austin TX, Post Launch Training, and then ongoing coaching and support. Our training teaches you about the painting industry, management systems, estimating, sales, marketing, accounting, profits, HR, networking, market projections, and much much more.
